About us...
We are Andrew and Melissa, and we are USDA licensed hedgehog breeders in Omaha, Nebraska. We fell in love with our first pet hedgehog in 2013 and it quickly progressed into a love and passion for us to offer hedgehogs to others. We became officially USDA licensed in 2014. We take pride in all of our hedgehogs and love them all like family.
We have great relationships with many reputable breeders across the country so we can stay up to date with the most current information on hedgehog care. We also work well with breeders to bring in new hedgehogs so that we can breed a great variety of colors/markings that also have a great lineage to produce healthy, beautiful babies.
All of our babies are raised in our home among family and pets and are used to noises of every day life. We take pride in producing and offering healthy babies and also in providing great customer service to all of our customers so that purchasing one of our babies can be a great experience.
Hedgehog Temperament/Personalities:
We take great pride in producing healthy and happy babies. But please note that each hedgehog has their own individual personality, no matter how much handling and bonding we do. We do not guarantee temperament because we have had some of the sweetest babies end up crabby in their new homes and also some of the crabbiest babies end up sweet and snuggly in their new homes. It really depends on how well each hedgehog adjusts to their new environment and the amount of time and commitment the customer puts into bonding with them. Some adjust easily to their new home and some can take several months. Please be aware of this before committing to any baby and be prepared to set quite a bit of time aside for the first few weeks that you bring them home.
